10DAYS/9NIGHTS SAFARI AND ZANZIBAR

DAY1:ARUSHA

You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro Airport. Our staff will answer all your queries regarding your upcoming safari and provide you with a short briefing as well. Afterward, you will be taken to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK.

We leave Arusha for Tarangire National Park. This park covering approximately 2850 square kilometers is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, eland and Oryx gather to stay in Tarangire until the onset of the rains when they migrate again to good grazing areas.

DAY3: CENTRAL SERENGETI

After breakfast, we proceed to the Central part of Serengeti. This park is well-known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the “big five”, named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffaloes, and Rhinos.

Serengeti is a home of herds of Wildebeest and Zebra annual migration between Maasai Mara in Kenya, whereby more than two million animals move for search of green pasture and water.

DAY4: CENTRAL SERENGETI

Early morning sunrise game drive with picnic breakfast then come back for hot lunch at the lodge, then late afternoon game drive. Or you can have the optional of going for full day game drive with picnic breakfast and lunch.

Later after wildlife experience drive back to the lodge after sunset for dinner and overnight at same lodge.

DAY5: NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast, we will drive to Ngorongoro for the crater tour with picnic descent to the crater floor for the day tour. Some 20,000 mammals live in the area including about 20 black rhinoceros, making the crater the best place in Tanzania to see these amazing creatures. The crater floor also has one of the highest carnivore densities in the world. Lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals are commonly seen, while leopards, servals, and bat-eared foxes may be seen with some luck.

DAY6: ZANZIBAR.

After breakfast, we head back to Arusha for lunch. You will then take a flight from Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport to Zanzibar in the afternoon.

DAY7: STONE TOWN TOUR, SPICES FARM TOUR – EAST COAST.

After breakfast, you will go on a guided tour of stone town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Experience tracing the footsteps of Arab Sultans on Zanzibar and ponder on the interesting historical sites and labyrinths. See actual Zanzibar doors famous for its unique architectural tradition.

After lunch, we will proceed on a tour of the countryside to the spice plantations. This place has a rich history and you will be welcomed by the rich aroma of spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon. Afterward, we take you to Paje/Jambiani beach for your 3 nights.

DAY8: FREE DAY TO RELAX.

Today we have a free day to relax on the beach or choose own activities.

Dinner and overnight at the same hotel.

DAY9: FREE DAY, LUNCH AT THE ROCK RESTAURANT.

Another free day to relax followed by lunch at The Rock Restaurant.

Overnight will be at the same hotel in East Coast.

DAY10: DEPARTURE.

On your last day, enjoy the rest of your stay by relaxing in the pool or in the beach while taking in as much sunshine as you can. In the afternoon, we will take you to the airport for your onward destination.
